In the Admin Tab landing page, the Admin can customize the XDAM's keyboard shortcuts. The Admin has the option to change the following:

 

Compare Keyboard shortcuts
Asset Viewer Keyboard shortcuts
Rank Keyboard shortcuts

How to perform keyboard shortcuts in the Advance Compare Window?

In this example, I have selected 3 assets.

ENTER

LEFT ARROW

 

From the screenshot above (asset number 2 is selected), I hit the LEFT ARROW key. The highlighted asset will change to the previous one.

RIGHT ARROW

 

When the RIGHT ARROW key is pressed, the highlighted asset will be replaced with the next asset in the list.

Note that the asset displayed now after clicking the RIGHT ARROW key is the original asset displayed before pressing the LEFT ARROW button.

 

 

UP ARROW

 

The UP ARROW key will let you choose among the remaining asset in your collection to display in the 2-UP view.

DOWN ARROW

 

The DOWN ARROW key will exit the user from the "Choose File" view.

 

 

DELETE

 

The DELETE key will remove the asset in you Advanced Compare selection. Note that there are only two assets in our selection after the DELETE procedure.

How to perform keyboard shortcuts in the Asset Viewer?

When inside the Asset Viewer, open Quick Edit by clicking the Quick Edit tab on the Info Panel.

Highlight an asset  by clicking on it or using the right arrow on the keyboard.

 

Note:

If an asset is already inside a collection, the quick edit panel will show you the check mark indicator as seen in the below screenshot.

RIGHT and LEFT ARROW

 

It cycles through the assets from left to right

 

 

UP and DOWN ARROW

 

Activates Quick Edit mode, in the screenshot below the first collection is now highlighted

 

 

SPACE

 

This bar will select /deselect or add/remove to that particular Collection.
